Do you want to feel like an all-star on the paintball or airsoft field? Now is your chance! We have put together the top 5 need-to-know tips and tricks that give you the competitive edge when coming out to play at American Paintball Coliseum. Are you ready to dominate your competition?
When you are coming out to play paintball, airsoft or laser tag there are some tips and tricks that can certainly give you the advantage in the game. Our experts have compiled 5 key things that will help you lead you and your team to victory out on the field!
1. Make a Game Plan
Before each paintball game starts the field supervisor will give each team a little time to talk and make a game plan. It’s always good to split up your team between people who lay down cover fire, and people move up quick. It is also a good idea to try to spread your whole team evenly across the field to be able to take advantage of all the possible shooting angles.
2. Communicate
Paintball, airsoft and laser tag are team sports that require you to communicate in order to win. This fact makes it one of the best reasons for having a [COMPANY PARTY]. It is important to talk to your teammates throughout the game so you can call out where you see members of the other team. If you really want an upper hand the next time you’re out playing, take a minute before the game starts and make a few code words for your team to use. A good example would be yelling bravo before you want to move up so your team would know to cover you, but the other team won’t know you’re coming!
3. Move Up
As the game progresses the other team will learn where most of your players are. Moving up can help you get a new angle on a player you couldn’t see before. It also acts in confusing the opposition. If you really have a good ear, sometimes you can notice that everyone on the other team is shooting at other players. If that ever happens seize the moment and make a move! Those that make moves win games.
4. Take Good Cover
Before the game starts, players who have played before start picking out which spot they will take cover in right away. You want to pick a spot on the field where you know you can get some good shots on the other team and help your teammates stay alive! Either way, make sure when you get to your bunker to stay tucked in tight. If you give them just an extra foot you’ll find yourself a little more painted up!
5. Have Fun with It
When you’re playing paintball, airsoft or laser tag don’t get too worried about getting eliminated. It is part of the games and trust us, it happens to everyone! If you want to try to make a crazy move and run up the field or take a harder bunker to get to, give it a try. Run fast, play hard and get your heart pumping. Just make sure your teammates have your back before you do! Over several games, players start to go to the same spots and fall into a routine of what they expect each game. Mixing it up with a different or wacky plan can actually catch your opponents off guard and help you get the upper hand!

I am old, haha, 54 yrs, but had an absolute blast playing laser tag with my 30 something year old son and 10 year old granddaughter. Will go again when I go back to Denver to visit. Employees were extremely helpful and let me use the discount even though I did not make my reservation online. Love, love, loved this place!

Awesome and fun live action haunted house. I was definitely scared and it’s been one of the best I’ve been to! Can’t wait to try out paintballing there!

It was really fun but definitely hurts to get shot with paintballs. I’d recommend wearing thick gloves and clothing!! Paintballs will bruise you! There are two arenas, one with metal sculptures for hiding, and another with big air filled blowup objects. They have masks and guns to provide if you do not have any. They have a food hut and a mini shop.

Amazing time with students on a field trip. Highly recommend this place, guys behind the counter and working were fabulous. Only down side is there is no ice, so if you are with kids that might get injured, bring a ice pack, or a cooler full!

The guys here are a class act. Always excited to see old and new players. 1st time at the indoor field and seems they are working on the inside but you don’t need much other then air, paint, and gun. An experience for the whole family and other players will help if it’s your first time. You will be nervous but once the adrenaline kicks in you won’t remember going to the movies or want to on a boring Sunday. Instead you will be here kicking butt and taking names!!!

So I highly recommend this place! My son and I went to play paintball for our first time. Unfortunately, my son was a couple years too young (you need to be 10 years old). He was pretty upset and so we decided to play laser tag instead. The gentleman that worked there went out of his way to make sure my son had a great time since he wasn’t able to play paintball. We had a blast. Way above and beyond good customer service!
