What does having a reservation mean?
Making a reservation to come play at American Paintball Coliseum gives you security knowing that paintball, airsoft, laser tag or virtual reality rental equipment will be available at the date and time you and your team wants. By making a reservation, it also allows us to properly prepare for you allowing us to give you the best possible customer service.
How long in advance should I make a reservation?
Generally, we recommend that reservations are placed at a minimum of 24 hours in advance to allow us to properly prepare. We do take walk-on players however rentals are not guaranteed for those groups. Reservations can be placed as far in advance as you need too.
Is the outdoor field the same as
the indoor field?
The outdoor fields for American Paintball Coliseum are NOT located at the same address. Our outdoor paintball and airsoft fields are located in Brighton, Colorado. Our indoor location for paintball, airsoft and laser tag is located in north Denver. Click here for directions to both locations.
What activities do you offer?
American Paintball Coliseum is the only company to offer the thrill of paintball, airsoft, a virtual reality arcade, and laser tag for players as young as 6 years old all under one roof! Our Brighton outdoor fields offer paintball and airsoft only.
Is there a deposit when making a reservation?
There is a $5 reservation deposit per player when making a reservation. The deposit is used to help reserve your proper amount of equipment.
How does the reservation deposit get handled?
The reservation deposit is associated with your reservation. When you and your group come in to play, the reservation deposit is deducted from the sale as you are about to pay. There is also the option to have the reservation deposit refunded if circumstances require.
What happens if I need to edit my reservation?
To make changes to your reservation, we ask that you give us a call at (303) 298-8573 or contact us and we will be happy to help you.
How should I sign up for a party room or other party addon?
As you fill out your reservation details there will be a section that allows you to input special instructions. Please place any party add-on pieces that will help make your stay special and we will be sure to have them prepared for your group as you arrive.
Do I get my reservation deposit back if I need to cancel?
Reservations that are canceled within 24 hours of the date scheduled will be able to get their reservation deposit refunded back to them. Please reach out to us if you need to cancel. Please allow up to 3 days for a refund to take effect.
Does paintball and
airsoft hurt?
Both of these activities involve a projectile that is being shot by you, and at you. When getting hit, most BB’s and paintballs feel like a hard pinch. They may leave a welt if hit on bare skin or sensitive areas. We recommend long sleeves with a light pair of gloves when coming to play paintball or airsoft. Both of these activities are best suited for players 10 years or older. For players that do not want to feel the pain of getting hit, our indoor fields also offer laser tag as a no pain, no mess alternative.
Can we watch them play games?
Yes! If you do not want to partake in the action yourself, you are more than welcome to watch through our viewing areas no matter which activity your group is playing.
Do you allow food or
drink inside?
We do allow food, drinks or cake inside the building. Our snack bar also offers refreshments and small snacks for sale. Our hot food options range from nachos, noodles, hot dogs pizza and more! Unfortunately, we can not allow any alcohol into the building.
Do you offer party rooms?
Party rooms are the perfect place to get away from all the paint and mess that happens here. We have clean party rooms available for $20 an hour. These rooms are locked and kept clean as a space for eating and opening presents. Party rooms can be scheduled through reservations or by availability at the time of your event.
How much ammo should I get
for my group?
As much as you want! Generally, a bag of 500 paintballs per player will last about two hours of game play. If you are playing airsoft, we recommend 5000 BB’s split between 4-5 players for an average two hours of play time. More ammo can be purchased at any time.
How long is the average stay?
Most groups stay anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours. This is dependant on how long you plan on staying at the facility. There is no time limit.
Do you provide clothing or
padding?
Our rental equipment does NOT include clothing or soft padding. It is recommended to wear long sleeves as well as a light pair of gloves for both paintball and airsoft. Our store carries a wide variety of various gloves and protective gear for sale that can be shopped when you arrive.
